Don't the tower spikes automatically double-up since the base-game towers also automatically instigate symmetrical connections? Try using the pole spike.

I can confirm that behaviour for the Tower Ground Spike, which is expected. However, Pole Ground Spike will only ever create a single connection for me. If the latter is doubling up for you as well, could you post the following files please: >debug

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced in #help-using-mods. This ensures that your help request won't get buried and forgotten in other, non-help channels! If you need to access older log files, see https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_Logs

Like I said, that is not a bug. It is how they're meant to work. They're only for connecting the Power Towers into the ground (ie: for zipline access). Since the base Power Towers automatically create double-connections themselves, the Tower Ground Spike must also.
