So I am having trouble downloading my work, first it didn't work on sketchfab, then it looked like it was exporting onto my desktop, but I cannot find a 360 file anywhere on my pc. Also I couldn't find the icosa icon to export it there.OK - you want to save your work as a 3d model so other people can see it. Is that correct? Sketchfab works for this but only with some brushes. We are going to launch our own "kinda like sketchfab" in the next few weeks that you can use for this but in the meantime... Who are you trying to show it to? Is this like a personal portfolio? Are you trying to display send it to specific people? Explain a bit more about how you're intending people to view it and who the intended audience is. For example - if the person/people are already using Open Brush - then my advice would be different than if they were "anyone in the world on their phone"
I would like to share it on my website to my subscribers here's my site if you want to check it out poetrypainter.com
I was able to share a sketchfab drawing but I guess my new file was too big
I guess I could do a video inside open brush, but I'm having trouble opening those files on my windows 11
here's a screen shot of the videos on my desktop

let me try to do one thought at a time. First of all thank you for the clarificaiton on the terminology of a 3d model. That is what I would like to download and share with people.. Any suggestions. Also, would be cool if I could offer it for sale somehow

Also, would be cool if I could offer it for sale somehowThat's not something we can help you with
here's my site if you want to check it out poetrypainter.comThat looks like it was created using Shopify. Is that correct? If so - https://help.shopify.com/en/partners/resources/creating-media/3d-models/creating-3d-models/3d-modeling-checklist their rules for supporting 3d models look pretty restrictive - so Open Brush sketches probably won't work. I don't know enough about Shopify to know how else you could embed a model. We will eventually support a standard called oEmbed. You could ask Shopify support if they support that. We might also allow other types of embedding but you'll have to wait until our Gallery website is publically released - which is at least a few weeks off.
I was able to embed my 3d sketchfab on shopify. I'm just wondering if you can tell me what is the easiest way to download or export a 3d model on my desktop?
The easiest way to export a 3d model from Open Brush is just to click the export button.
https://docs.openbrush.app/user-guide/saving-and-sharing-your-open-brush-sketches#export-your-sketch-file-to-.fbx-.obj-.gltf-and-other-formats

on the Labs Panel.
(you open the labs panel via the main admin menu: )

and then

but - it probably won't look correct in Shopify. Because of this: https://help.shopify.com/en/partners/resources/creating-media/3d-models/creating-3d-models/3d-modeling-checklist
I did export it that way but then couldn't find the file on my computer
I'll look againb
Do you think it I should download unity or blender in order to see it as a 3d model?
No
Do you know, I think I found where the file is going, but I'm unable to open it (previous screen shot) . Any suggestions ?
What file?
Have you clicked "export"? Those files are placed in a folder called "Exports" inside your Open Brush folder. You want the "glb" file
I'd really recommend reading the docs.
yes I have that file but I can't get it to open
Open in what? You keep giving me fragmentary and incomplete descriptions of what you're doing. Try and go into much more step by step detail when you ask a question.
I can't reread this entire conversation each time just remind myself what's going on.
I forgot your not chatgbt
Ok I think I've refined my question, here it goes; In regards to exporting a file from inside open brush. I like to make videos then export them, or access the automatic save files, but for some reason, they are exporting, but I'm having trouble opening them, they don
don't just save as a glb file, I have to convert them
so I'll share a screen shot of my auto save files

A GLB file is not a video
And that screenshot isn't even anything to do with exports
That's just an automatic backup of your sketch
Change the setting in explorer that hides and shows file extensions. It's always useful to know the file extension itself
Most annoying thing Microsoft ever changed in Windows was hiding those by default
here's a screen shot of the videos

I mean exports
.tilt files are your sketches saved in their native format
.glb and .gltf are exports (3d models of your sketch)
.mp4 are videos
videos and exports are different things
those are videos
(MP4 files)
ok thanks
