How can I speed up LOD transfer from server -> clients?
I've already done a pregen of 256 radius on my new Fabric server with the latest nightly DH installed, which is also installed on my client. I find that the LODs take a while to transfer to my client, as I can see the
Distant_Horizons_server_data folder size increasing but very slowly, and the distant LODs are not visible for at least 5-10 minutes. I am only playing with others on a LAN and each PC is connected to the modem at 2.5Gbps as well as the server (running locally). I tried increasing maxDataTransferSpeed to 10000 (in the server config) and nothing seems to change. Any ideas? Thanks.3 Replies
