Using the mining dimension in allthemods9 breaks DH - shows the wrong chunks.
DH works fine until I go into the mining dimension, and in there it shows some wrong chunks - but then when I go back to the overworld it's just completely broken.
I've tried fiddling with the multiverse settings, it's at 0.8 right now but there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between 0.0, 0.8, and 1.0.
Disconnecting and reconnecting to the server fixes the mismatching chunks, but then it seems to want to regenerate the LoDs entirely from scratch.

you could try using the nightly builds from #links-n-downloads ? it has a better dimension detection method replacing the multiverse stuff.
you may need to delete your LODs for it to work though

Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
or back it up instead, in case using the nightly builds doesnt work
Would you happen to know what the difference is between the forge and the forge-fabric versions?
forge version works only on forge, forge-fabric version works on both forge and fabric
is there a version that's 'better'? there's also a pure fabric version, which is why I'm confused
the fabric-forge one is just both in the same jar
the only forge and only fabric versions are purely for debugging purposes
It is universal and this is the only released in stable versions
Ah, okay
...Huh. That's quite a bit of performance improvement
