Socket Timeout on Server join

Anyone familiar with a Client SocketTimeout bug for a Server running 2.3.0-b-RC2-1.21.4? I played on it for dozens of hours but now when i want to join, i get disconnected a few seconds later with a timeout. If i join without DH installed everything works fine.

You should send your latest.log file to provide additional useful information. Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs directory. On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed. After uploading the file, click on Save and send the link.

Try updating to RC3 or even nightly

I tried it today again without changing anything and now it works again. It has probably something to do with a slow connection, because yesterday my internet wasn't that great and a have a friend, that always has bad internet and plays on the server, that has the same problem but more often. The DH Mod probably locks the MC Client from holding the connection to the server before it has finished initializing. But with a slow connection and/or high packet lost, it will not finish before the MC timeout time Just a guess though

You can decrease the max internet throughput of DH server side iirc IDK if you can controls it client side You can also try disabling sync on login to reduce the initial first bandwidth requirement
