Ever heard of Macnicol of Scotland? How to thrift/vinted brands that you're not familiar with?

So Im shopping for some affordable (~50 euros) sweaters, and I came accross some nice (supposedly made in scotland) either cachemire or wool sweaters. But most of them are from brands that I can't find anything about them online. For example Macnicol of Scotland, Lands' End, McNeal and some other

Don't worry if you can't find a particular brand, Scottish knitwear was/is sold under many, many different brands. Though, Land's End and McNeal are relatively big brands. Also if it says made in Scotland, it’s very unlikely that it is a fake. Just doesn’t really happen with that type of knitwear

Unfortunately we have to pay customs on anything that comes from the uk now so I usually stick to vinted eu/france but ill check what they have and cross refernce it! Thanks! I see, then as long as made in scotland it should be a safe buy

Check the seller on your local ebay because they may do delivery duty paid which will at least ease the process and may not add too much cost.
