Hotend temp and power osscilating even after pid tune
I recently upgraded to the ratrig toolhead 1.0 on my vcore 3.1 and I PID tuned my hotend at 55% fan speed (I print at 50 normally and 60 for bridges), 215 degrees, and with filament inside. during print the temperature oscillates +- 1 degree and the power oscillates wildly. Is this normal or does this have a fix?

What hotend and what kind of thermistor are you using? Where do you have the thermistor plugged on the board?
its a phaetus rapido 2 uhf with a pt1000 thermistor that I have plugged in as shown in the red circle in this image
did you solve this? curious what the problem was
never did, i just let it fluctuate honestly
it could be that I dont have thermal grease in there or something but I may go back later and apply it to test
Do you live in a country where you can plug in your machine and reverse hot and neutral lines? If so, try reversing your plug
i live in usa so i dont believe i can reverse the plug
