Layer Shifts looking for help

Im getting layer shifts when printing on default settings within Prusaslicer and within the Ratos I have the speed factor down to 60 % and getting constant shifts . Using orca slicer has a better quality but shifts as well. Both softwares are default setting for VCore 4 400mm

your Y IS graph is kinda poopoo, but your x is phenomenal??? Anyways, when you go into configurator on ratos, and go into Hardware Selection, make sure you are running in performance mode...

I had same issue my fixes are the following : Make sure the gears on the stepper motors are all tight I had one loosen up on me = layer shift : use blue lock tight on the grub screws. and 2 : was I used the Black nozzle in the kit , which I thought was a .4mm nozzle , its not the black nozzle is a .6mm . The silver nozzle is the .4mm . also i see you have no panels on as well from your photos . your gonna have a lot of wobble on the Y . I printed braces untill my side panels get here to make the fram more rigid

Alright, after letting my frustrations go I did another test print and the issue is not the same as before (see attached). I have taken your suggestions @Alemnath the silver nozzle was in use and I have had success with small prints sub 50mm with no issues. @Anton could you elaborate on performance mode please?

layer shifts because of belt slipping or motor skips step, so performance mode can affect it if motor spins fast and belt is loose and the opposite if belts are tigh and motors can't keep up with each other

So I've seen what is happening. It's withe the heat block expansion. And it's falling of "track" then the extruder tip is catching the side of the print. And causing the tool head to get stuck and freeze the motor. I noticed a pattern for this when it makes a thud noise is where it shifted and is shifting to the same side it gets stuck on. It seems random for me and the part cooling fan running max is probably not helping with the corners trying to lift. What made me think of this is when it knocked off a prior print. Having said that I need to add a pause somewhere for the heater to soak at temp for at least 2 min during the poke test before begining a print with my printer.cfg or my slicer (Help needed here).

If you are not in performance mode, this most likely explains your layer shifts. if you ARE in performance mode, I'd take a look at your belts and try and get them all the equal tightness, generally this means having the peak frequency on MZV line up roughly between X and Y

I will report on changes soon Performance mode was off checking the amps before at 1.1 now at 1.6 with performance mode on. And looks good so far now I need some help with setting my printer.cfg file for fan pwr 0.8 it's causing the corners to peal up from the plate

My thoughts are that the part cooling fan is cooling the bed too It's a post cap

Part cooling fan is kinda crazy. It's a slicer setting, go into filament and edit cooling (if you are using prusaslicer), change it to maybe 40% However if your build plate is not clean and your first layer is not good, no fan setting will fix this Additionally you can bump your first layer temp by 5-10° to help adhesion

If it prints I'll mark the answer Now if could only keep mainsail from dropping my connection and refusing to reconnect
