Worse Quality when DH turned on?
Why is the Quality worse when DH is turned on? (1.21.4 Nightly Fabric Build)
For some reason when DH ist turned on the normal loaded chunks are not as far as the one DH switches out.

I think i found it, Settings > Advanced > Graphics > Culling > Overdraw Prevention
if i set it to 1 it seems to be working agin. Or is it something else?...

I am really confused. Did i mess up some setting ?
These are my settings
I am in 1.21.4 using the nightly build
i think there is a setting that renders everything as lods
you know which one it is?
inside LOD Building?
i think debug
"only render LODs"? thats false for me
hmm if its not that then im not sure
It's because of blending
Turn that off in dh's settings and you'll see
any hint where the setting is? Cant find it

I think i found it, Settings > Advanced > Graphics > Culling > Overdraw Prevention

blending uses the overdraw prevention value to determine how far away from the player the blending happens
and 1 is so far away it effectively turns it off
blending is under
graphics, quality, fade near DH LODs
I don’t think so, iirc blending works in a way that even at ovpr of 1 it won’t be at the edge of vanilla to DH and at ovpr of 0 blending still happens
youre probably right. havent looked much into it
So how do I fix it?
Disable the blending and set overdraw prevention to 1.0
Blending makes the most difference because with it enabled everything after the ovdrpr distance will be a LOD
With blending disabled both LOD and vanilla will exist after the ovdrpr distance and vanilla usually displays on top giving the effect of higher vanilla RD
Where is the blending settings? I cant find it
Give me a minute I will launch MC
Advanced options -> Graphics -> Quality -> {Vanilla Fade Mode}
Set it to Nonethank you!
