Fan stopping when klipper shows 70%

I'm having issues where the part cooling fan stops completely while klipper shows 70%, I can't figure out what is going wrong. I'm using orcaslicer 2.2 and latest klipper/ratos. When I'm not printing I can control the fan perfectly with the slider from mainsail. Anyone has any ideas? In the slicer preview it never goes to 0% fan. I also saw the post processing step for the first time in klipper before starting a print, might that have to do something with it? Here is a gcode snippet;

[fan] pin: !fan_part_cooling_pin cycle_time: 0.01 I have this in my config.cfg, its a vcore 3.1 400mm only while printing there is a discrepancy between what the slider shows and what the fan is doing. When printing it seems to turn off and on randomly

like the fan is intermittently losing power?

could be, but previous run I had multiple of these bars and the fan went on on one of those and not on the others. I'm now printing again and the fan was working in the first part of the print but looks completely dead now. Weird thing is I'm pretty sure after the print that I will have control of the fan through the GUI again I'm uploading a small video

Could be an internal wire break. In certain positions it works fine, and in others the break is too far to maintain electrical connection and thus the fan dies

hmm, thanks for the suggestions I'll check the wiring tomorrow, will update! I think the fan died, I didn't spot any wire breaks but I changed the fan out for a new one and it's back up and running as expected The new fan on the ratrig website seems better than the one it came with stock. Seems more powerfull and more silent! 😎
