'ratos_homing' not a valid section
I just updated everything on my vcore3 for the first time in about a year maybe. I've got an error saying that Section 'ratos_homing' is not a valid config section. All the suggestions online say to go to the configurator and click on actions -> symlink klippy extensions, but that seems like old advice and I can't find any "actions" anywhere. The configurator url doesn't seem to do much. It's just the header and side bar and then blank in the middle.

If it has been a year, you may still be on 2.0. Can you confirm what version of ratos you're on?
2.0.2
Try this, lifted from the ratos-support rules post
well that solved that problem. Many thanks! Now I'm getting an error that says 'Duplicat chip name 'probe'`
Drop your latest printer.cfg
it was giving me an error before about not having a pin set for probe, but I don't need it with beacon. I uncommented the old config which you can see in that printer.cfg file. I just recommented it out and that issue goes away. Now I think I'm good. Thanks! @TheTik I remember you being really helpful building this thing a while back and I appreciate you being as active as you are that you're still helping me out lol! Thanks bud!
I was separately trying to install the 2.1 beta on another sd card to start this over if needed and for some reason every attempt at writing the 2.1 rc2 image to an sd card is failing. I've. tried different cards, different card usb readers, validated the sha sum to make sure it wasn't corrupted. I don't know what is wrong, but it's much easier to leave it as is. Serious cudos!!!!
Im just glad it's up and working! 😄 🎉
If you are using balena etcher, lots of people have been having problems with the latest versions. Do a quick check in this discord and you'll see what version is being recommended (17?)
Well that didn't last long.
