How long will doc martens-type boots be in style?
I'm interested in buying these Solovair boots, and I know this style is quite trendy now, but will it still hold up in 10 years? My style is generally straight cut to slightly baggy, streetwear and minimalist but I'd like to look a bit more goth.

No way to be sure because there is no way to predict the future
if you're worried about whether something will still be in style in 10 years you're doing this wrong
buy them if you like them
interesting... I feel like with footwear especially there's a lot of timeless classics. I guess that's less true for trendier pieces. What I'd really like to avoid is hopping on some trend that's already on its way out
And what if you did? If you like them you should wear them for as long as you like them
do you like these boots
haha yeah they're sick
alright then
They've been trendy in one sphere or another since the 1960s so I think you're probs safe yeah
yeah, if there's any such thing as timeless classic in casual footwear like this then the Docs/Solovair silhouette has gotta come pretty close.
agreeing with tun and chopper, I can't think of any time in my life that I haven't seen people wearing docs
aside converse I'm not really sure I can think of many very casual bits of footwear that have this kind of longevity.
since the 1960s til now
I will put it this way:
I don't think these will stay as trendy as they are right now. But the likelyhood that they become actively unfashionable in the timeframe you are going to keep them before they fall apart is very low.
if you like it, buy it. wear them so much that they fall out of and then back INTO fashion
