Styling feedback: Chinos, brown fluffy jacket, white shirt
This was a fit I came up with this morning, using some inspiration from my inspo wall.

I’d try wearing a belt with this.
Otherwise I think this isn’t bad. Are the pants comfortable for you? They look a little bit on the small side.
They are a bit small but they’re just about comfortable, although Ideally I would prefer them to be a bit larger.
IIRC i didn’t wear a belt because it’d make it too tight
Yeah they do look a bit small imo. Maybe you oughta take a look around at some pants that are more your size? I bet you’d be able to find something good and cheap on Vinted.
Yeah, I’d probably also want to get straight chinos too.
I like this jacket
Agreed on pants

these are also very affordable if that helps and you’re looking for a quick fix
+1 for straight fit chinos (or jeans, or fatigues, etc etc etc)
Maybe also try undoing the top button on your Henley and see how that changes things.
BUT how do you feel about the fit
the straight fit vs slim fit is an obvious shout imo but what issues you do or don't have with the fit may inform the feedback given

these could be interesting too, comes out in 2 weeks and you can try out pleats
You can also wear a belt as an accessory instead of utility here, like you can just wear it loose and it shouldn't impact the fit of the pants. It tends to be a good visual break between a tucked shirt and pants.
I hate those pants so much. They are doing absolutely nothing for you. The jacket is fun! Henley buttoned all the way to the top is making me uncomfortable for some reason, but that could just be a me thing.
JWA :linkOMG:
i'm pretty interested in seeing the JWA x Uniqlo 25 collection
Friend, it feels like you’re drifting off what you were originally looking to do
yeah :bloberm:
Welp, maybe take it one thing after the other and try to find a good pair of chinos that’s in your price range and size?
The collection will be there after still
https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/products/E470549-000/00?colorDisplayCode=35&sizeDisplayCode=030 they also have these which you can go try on now

A) don't buy retail jcrew in the uk
B) don't buy chinos that have the word 'stretch'
the ideal chino for your purposes is gonna be PRL Andrews but until you can track down a pair on ebay/vinted the uniqlo's are a better option than the two you linked
ok
Try the uniqlos bud, they’ll work fine and last you a bit
I had the same pair of uniqlo chinos for like 8 years
Yeah I wore two pairs very regularly for 6 years until the fabric gave out
Those uniqlo u trousers holfram (and then art) linked are really good, I have thought about recommending them to you a few times because I feel like they would look great with your fits and esp that new carhartt jacket you got
Here is ler wearing them, sized up a bit
The Uniqlo U ones look fine, and they’ve got 31w which would probably suit me more.
Best check measurements too!
As the owner of a couple pairs of j crew 770s you can absolutely find something better for less
Calling those things straight fit is being very generous
Is it more slim fit?
It’s wider for a slim fit but not by much. The elastane is still needed for it to be less uncomfortable
Keep in mind that they cost roughly 70£ for us Americans so listen to art
I'd call uniqlo's 'wide fit' a pretty good straight fit
Yeah, that’s like a £30 increase for ordering from Britain :why_dissolve:
