Macos, world doesn't start with Distant Horizon
Hello, when i want to start my world with only distant horizon, the loading screen go to 100% but after, there is nothing i could do and nothing appared. This is my log screen

Try toggling instanced rendering in DH settings
If that won't work, try disabling beacon and cloud rendering

@James Seibel (GMT-6) i have a case of DH saying the gpu doesnt support openGL 3.2 on a openGL 4.5 GPU. i see this in the logs: "If you noticed that your computer supports higher OpenGL versions but not the required version, try running the game in compatibility mode. can i therefore assume that you also don't know how to fix this / this is not really fixable?

This appears to be a fluke with how Mac handles open GL.
Assuming you can run DH on any MC version after 1.16 (IE 1.17 or newer), then it appears MC is running in legacy GL mode (IE it’s using open GL 2.1 instead of 3.2).
Unfortunately this isn’t something you or I can fix since it’s due to how Mac handles legacy GL and what GL version MC 1.16 runs on.

After it
I change version of the server
I re added the old world i have saved
And i update all of the mods 1 by 1
And i think if a mod dont have an update
He just doesnt appared in the world
- make a backup of the whole server
- update the server version
- update every mod one by one
- if you cant find an updated version of a mod, report it here and ill tell you if youre screwed

why not a newer version? assuming the mods you use support newer versions than 1.18.2
My friend say me that in 1.18.2 and 1.16.5 the mods are praticly all in this different version

But i want to say that my friend say me that for modded minecraft the best version are 1.18.2 and 1.16.5 because in this different version the majority of the mods who exist are present
DH should gracefully handle this, any modded blocks will just be replaced with air. (Although I haven’t tested this recently and it won’t help your actual world either).

Some mods haven't updated to 1.20.1 yet, though I would still classify that as the best version for modding right now
1.20.1 is fairly modern and mods that are still in development had probably updated already, some mods have even already moved to 1.21.1
1.19.2/1.19.4 wshould also be fine
