Looking for a land claims plugin
Have some very specific things I need. Looking for a land claim system that can be used by players to claim different areas of the world, and also I want to have it so that the owner of the claim can add other players to the claim so that they have permissions to open doors/chests etc. I want to be able to control what worlds this plugin can be used in ideally, also obviously want to be able to have admins be able to see and moderate any existing claims. Anyone have suggestions? Paper 1.21.1

Should specify, I run a multi-gamemode server and I only want this running on the survival world, not any of the other worlds if possible. People keep saying they've been stolen from
coreprotect would let you see who stole stuff if you dont want to go to land claim
I know Towny does a chunk claim.

I do use coreprotect, but people are asking if i can do more since it's already gotten out of hand a bit and the server's been up for like a month
i'll look at those other two in a bit as well

But afaik it doesn't have claiming for a chunk - why do you want that feature
Easier for newer/inexperienced players to use

Some people also want to claim a large amount of land
Wouldn't choosing a specific start and end range be easier for new players rather than claiming the chunk?
Now that I'm thinking about it that sounds more practical

Not sure if it can be considered land claim, but what about Protection Stones?
I strongly prefer Lands or GriefDefender, but my players for some reason struggle to understand how a diagonal works, so I have to stick with that one

I looked at lands but it looks like you need to pay which I'm trying to avoid
I'm going to look into protection stones and try that one next, will update with results when I have them but I won't be around my pc for a few days probably
theres Residence which i see someone else mentioned but not in the context of using it
theres technically a download link for a free copy on the offical page
i looked through my Residence config and cant see a bit where you can disable it per world (maybe i missed it + im on an older version so maybe i dont have it), but you could use LuckPerms to deny permissions to residence commands in certian worlds for eg
I only mentioned Residence because back in 2014 you could select the exact volume (3d) you wanted to protect, which was far less convenient to the current standard (2d) and yet people didn’t seemed to struggle back then
Not sure if nowadays Residence is still a viable option or if they kept old way of protecting

I use the plugin called Lands, I've used it for years and swear by that it's the best land claiming plugin. Players say that it's a more modern version of towny
Isnt it all GUI-based? We've always used griefprevention and newer players have found it easier rather than doing everything in GUI menus
Yeah it's mostly gui based! I guess it's whatever floats your boat
I looked into it, only problem is right now I'm trying to avoid paid plugins
