Its a quarterzip, so it looks ass by definition. But if you like it, go for it I guess.

If you want to use it as activewear it’s probably a good deal, it just looks like crap

i don't think thats a good enough deal to justify getting something you think looks bad

tbh I want it because its a good base layer for me. but idk much about fashion so most of my clothes are neutral/safe colors but I think you guys convince me that it doesn't look good

For 79 bucks you can get a green piece of clothing that also looks good ngl

For that money you could get a smartwool merino base layer (assuming you mean using this for like, hiking and stuff)

patagonia capilene baselayers go on sale or are on wornwear for roughly the same price i think (again, assuming you're using it in an outdoor layering system)

What wrong with quarter zips 😭 I wouldn’t use green as a base layer tbh, it’s harder to style and goes on so little things. Green over layers in my opinion is better “jackets, sweaters, vests etc”

they look ass. By definition. Look it up, its in the dictionary. I don't make the rules.

oh god am i going to have to stump for quarter zips? quarter zips have a actual, functional benefit imo - they're an effective baselayer or midlayer in terms of temperature regulation for hiking and camping and active pursuits if that's what OP is doing then it's a fair question though discount lululemon is still overpriced relative to secondhand stuff from outdoor companies (columbia, patagonia, smartwool, cotopaxi, topo designs, etc) i would not wear them for anything else because the stand collar usually seems either too limp or too prominent imo; prove me wrong by posting fit in #waywt if desired

The real crime is the normalisation of quarter zips as biz cas

yea smartwool is very loud for me. its meant for activities and not a casual/minimalistic look i may use this as activities layer, but I'm always having hard time layering when temps are like -5c to 5c. Like what is the right clothes for me? 3 layers is too hot then 2 is too cold. So I'm thinking of doing 2 layers but the base layer is really warm and still would look good even if you remove my jacket or outerlayer. I usually do outerlayer of Arcteryx Atom/Hoodie Jacket/Patgonia Micro D I know smartwool is great quality. But I know the way it fits doesn't work me. Since I'm not a toned muscular guy. It feels like my whole top is wearing a condom. Yea I have some outdoor research base layer for hiking/snowboarding. I'm looking for a base layer that looks presentable when say going out for a date, events and parties. Wearing outdoor companies clothes on like a semi-formal settings does not look good for me

Lululemon isnt much better. For what you're describing, a button up shirt and sweater or just a sweater would be better

indoor layering is largely similar, though temperature ranges for non-technical clothes are nonexistent and would still depend on the person like raisin suggested my go to is button down or t-shirt base - sweater/sweatshirt - outer for non-active wear, and i have separate clothes for active pursuits. uniqlo heat tech turtleneck is another option for a baselayer; you can barely see it here under the shirt and jacket https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1130936822051119195/1313948474903101511

I'm brand agnostic - i like too many things to lock into one brand most stores will have something, be it basic (cos, j.crew, PRL, abercrombie, ald, etc) or more interesting (story mfg, most nepenthes brands, zara when it rips off designers, kenzo, etc.). your preferences and budget are the main factors here
