Redmi Note 13 Pro (Ingame Specs)
I'm looking forward to purchasing a new phone but Idk which.
I'm deciding whether I'd pick
- 12gb ram 512 storage
or
- 8gb ram with 256 storage on the Pro+
My question is that if 12gb make any difference in FPS and is that enough for 90 fps?
Solution:Jump to solution
Devices with the minimum hardware requirements of 90Hz display refresh rate, and Snapdragon 865 or Dimensity 1100 central processing unit, can access the 90 FPS option with Smooth graphics.
Both of the devices mentioned can only support up to 60 FPS with Smooth graphics....

The Pro+ is somewhat better for me as it has 120w charger compared to the 67w of the Pro
8 gb ram are more than enough, more important is a good processor that can handle the game and does not overheat as much.
My device is the iPad Pro gen 4 11 inch and it has also 8 gb ram.
Oh so like the 12gb ram is just to cope with the 512 storage as 12gb ram arent available on 256gb variants
I can only assume it, since those with more storage are more likely to be used for video editing and rendering… (just my guess)
For PUBG mobile it is always an mystery what device is good and what not. They have no list with actual benchmarks and what you think of as smooth gameplay can drastically change when you play on other devices.
For me that happend when switching from an old android phone to an iPad 8 and 2 years later to an iPad Pro supporting 120 fps without heating up….
It’s best if you can find actual tests on YouTube or just try it out if it works for you.
I could've sworn Ive seen a channel or a specific site that shows devices capable of certain settings FPS (I think). But might just be imagining things lol
To be fair, I'm somewhat of a (planning) beginner content creator about flight reviews/timelapse of flights and I could use the 12gb ram w 512gb of storage ngl. I just dont know if its nearly full would affect the speed of the phone itself rather than a 256gb internal storage 8gb ram

Tysm, is the Pro+ also 60fps max?
12 g ram is usually just 8 g ram and 4 g page file on hard-drive
Virtual memory is mostly bad for gaming. It is slow and not made for gaming.
Since both devices you mentioned support only 60 fps (was mentioned by delfin) it comes to your preference.
Yall meant that its an 8gb ram with 4gb virtual ram? The Pro+ and Pro has a feature of 12gb built in ram for 512 gig in. st. but I think it also has virtual ram till 16 so +6 like the 8gb ram of the conventional 8gb with 256 gb in str that could have 8gb virtual ram
But I think ill just buy the Note 13 Pro with 8gb ram as yall suggested, as I could also use the additional 100mp (200mp) camera for flight reviews compared to the normal Note 13
I remember that being the case a few months ago. I can ask for a confirmation if you'd like in case there were recent changes.
If its okay with you, thanks
