I'm Lagging

I'd unroll the pants they're intentionally cropped above the ankles in that pic so it works better bc it's not bulky there also I think? The shirt is more loose fitting there full slim top too comes off a bit too much like tech office worker :boi:

good preparation for a game design job Anyway I'm thinking maybe something like a looser shirt?

I think the inspo guy is also doing some layering with the sleeves that your fit isnt capturing
Sam
SamOP6d ago
Oh I didn't notice that lol

I think it'll be quite difficult to replicate with a slim-ish shirt though And more importantly you need a cat

:why_dissolve: I have family members who don't like cats :catCry: But yeah, :bloberm:

Anyway, if layering with relaxed tops is a recurring motif in your inspo, consider getting tops in bit more relaxed cuts

I've got a looser levis denim jacket that I could possibly try

I think if you opened a few buttons on the shirt it might match the inspo vibe a bit better bc with it closed all they way you aren't seeing any of the tshirt and you lose the layering of the inspo pic having them all done also contributes to the tech office worker vibe

Inspo guys undershirt also looks like a mock neck which contributes to the look a fair bit imo Like the contrast between the the under/over shirt collars is nice and not captured in your fit as much I think as others have said just sizing up on the over shirt would probably help a lot too

When I worked in games everyone dressed in graphic tees and hoodies, and I doubt much has changed there

You could wear a garbage bag and most folks wouldn't notice in my experience (just not to the job interview)

:linkCool: 🤔 I wonder if it'd be worth trying a slim pants fit out again or if 1 time is enough lol

You'll find 90% of people in the UK wearing slim fit jeans anyway, if you like them then it's totally fine
Sam
SamOP4d ago
I'm fine with them, yeah

(Honestly even these lads stopped wearing the ultra skinny stuff and wide pants have become the standard with younger folks even in my city)
