Shader enabling noise, dont know what setting it is.
so for a while i was using my shader with no noise for lods. but randomly it started using noise and it looks really bad. how do i get rid of it?

it used to blend much better
What Oculus version are you using?
latest/1.7.0
You open shader settings,
search for LOD noise setting and change it,
if the setting is not there ask the shader dev to add it
search for it??
Go through every single category
or you mean look for it
oh
yeah
ive been doing that
its comp reimagined with euphoria patches
Honestly you might want to switch the shader as this one seems off...
The LODs are a lot darker then the vanilla terrain and that is not usually the case
If you like it, do what you want, but the noise texture does not seem like the only problem
.
sorry
i use it because its compatable with alot of mods, and has colored lighting
your good
Most shaders nowadays have coloured lights, just have to enable it
Bliss has floodfill and SSGI
Photon has floodfill
Shrimple and ReThinking Voxels for sure have it too
Mod compatibility on the other hand is problematic
Newest in-dev main branch Bliss has decent support, but it is nowhere close to Euphoria patches
bliss has colored??
i like blisses look alot more i cant lie ðŸ˜
Yeah, with 2 separate implementations
Floodfill and SSGI
Probably don't use SSGI (go for SSAO instead), but Blisses flooodfill works great
For
floodfill
go to Ambient Light
> FloodFill
> Enabled: On
For SSGI
go to Ambient Light
> Indirect Lighting: SSGI
Also enable Long Range SSGI: On
And: High Quality Ambient Light: On
SSGI
is really noisy though, so I would recommend staying with floodfill and Indirect Lighting
set to SSAO
.
You might want to boost the light saturation in floodfill a bit and that is itand where is the dh support
For that you need the GitHub version
You can download it manually from here: https://github.com/X0nk/Bliss-Shader
Or here is the direct download link: https://github.com/X0nk/Bliss-Shader/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

okay thanks
ill be back if it dosent work out
does this support the normal clouds? never liked the look of the realistic clouds.
and i have a cloud mod that makes them look better
I have no idea, never tried, but I doubt it
Shaders can never really support normal clouds as the normal clouds stop existing when you enable shaders, they can only try to recreate them
Which one?
If
Better Clouds
it should work with any shader
And then you can just disable the realistic clouds to be left with only the modded onesdosent work
Huh
IDK then, make sure vanilla clouds are enabled in the video settings
