using the latest sodium and iris? in that case its a known issue with those

The only versions that have guaranteed shader support right now is DH <=2.2.1 + Iris 1.7.5
Both the nightly had some problem and IDK if they were fixed and newest Sodium/Iris has some problems and no one knows when exactly the problems started

no iris 1.7.5 is only for 1.20.1

tint blocks with avoided block or something like that, to falseye thats fixed
but still, caves are culled very incorrectly, you think a mod like chunky can fix it ?
I mean its like underground part is empty

Waiting for iris and Sodium to release an update that addresses this is all you can do if you're on a mc version like 1.21.4 that only has seen one mc release
i fixed it, i turned off block face culling in sodium

But THEN
the water does not look transparent
it looks fully only reflective
like the lighter portion of the water in the image
And thats kinda sad, but lets see
