I need help moving an old single-player world back to single player after using it on a server.

I have an old world that I uploaded to a server for a few years but now I can't get the player data to work properly after trying to make it single-player again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm definitely online though just as clarification I want to keep the server player-data. I'm fine with deleting the old player data.

You probably just need to use something like nbtexplorer to change the NBT data of the your playerdata from the server to the playerdata of the singleplayer player Actually not entirely. if the world was loaded by someone else originally or he played as a different account or corruption in the world or changes to how it was handled by paper could have caused it to not make his "new" player be the singleplayer player I have had the same issue with maps and other worlds I migrate between single player and servers for testing purposes that friends have worked on
