What are the dos and donts when shopping for a coat?
I recently realized that I paid last year a 100 euros for a polyester coat from HM, it doesn't keep me warm, it doesnt look that good on me to begin with as the fit isn't very good and the material doesnt feel premium.
Since im shopping more often on vinted (less fast fashion, less buying new items but also buying more premium clothes) I found a really nice 100% wool coat by Ballantyne thats made in Soctland.
But im not sure if there are things to consider more before making a purchase so are there dos and donts you guys would recommend?

Really the first consideration for me is, does this coat look good and does it fit with my style and existing wardrobe
Does it look good, is it made of something appropriate for the design and intended weather, is it a fair price
I guess don’t buy a coat that’ll reach past your feet and track around on the floor.
Wool will keep you warm, it’s a good choice.
