Does anybody try ChatGPT for outfit advice! 👀
I am curious can we use ChatGPT or other AI to acquire better tips for personalized advices for our outfits????

shut up
I like ebay. they generate ai fitpics with things similar to the items. sure, their torso may be too long and the "model" might have 3 arms but i like comme des garcons so the coats already have 3 sleeves
cmon, 3 arm humans are the future!
why? tho
I think I'd rather subject myself to a busy body Nordstrom stylist
midi that'd rock because you'd get rag and bone (designed by Robert Geller former winner of some award)
I’ve gotten a lot of good wear out of the cdg three leg pants
The third leg is for your dong
Worse tips, probably
huh :linkSmug:
Anyway if you want personalized advice @zac just ask us
As you can see we have a lot of personality
And it’s better for the environment!
And more collective expertise than chat gpt
gemini generate an image of a man wearing comme des garcons clothing in a new york way. the man is short and has buzzed hair and needs to be wearing big black boots that would stomp on me when i would want and he would have a big loft in the village so we could get a nice meal
Who is wrong a lot
‘Comme des garçons clothing in a New York way’ I’m ROLLING
No because I like having a personality
Lmao! I think my shape and problems are very personal😅
Idk I need more feedback from ladies haha
I am sure that we can help you with whatever your question is
Prob gpt could help? Idk
Chat gpt is not that
Frankly if you're funny shaped chatgpt would be useless
It gives out generalised advice and hallucinates
respectfully chatgpt's advice is impersonal and lacks context
I feel the advice is a bit general
I mean if you aren’t comfortable sharing then I get that but I’m sure we have people with the necessary expertise to help and to give specific advice
the amount of time and energy and research spent devoted to making a decent prompt could be spent just asking a question here, or of finding inspiration
There are people in this server who do that! As their job! For a living! And are very good at it
Haha for real sometimes can I have advices on underwear selection
Lmao
😂
sure
someone asked about boxers yesterday
got plenty of answers
Yah I don’t think I would like to share my pictures on the internet 😂that’s why I tried gpt
But got frustrated
zac try this prompt
hello llm generator
i was told that i should wear Bernhard willhelm by a fashion discord server
they said to come to you to generate images of Bernhard willhelm style clothing. specifically they referenced fall winter 13. can you please generate images in the style of that collection and put it on a tall handsome man with no hair on his head but a hairy chest (and lots of chest hair) who is really me in my dreams some days. have the background be the top of the empire state building with the little telecopes and some generic people around. let it be twilight and at least one of my pieces of clothing has lurex that reflects the moonlight romantically. do this in a drawing style that is almost Pixar adjacent but less flat.
Awwww thanks bro
Okay what are you looking for (no pictures necessary)
you don't always need a picture for this; what are you looking for
Better rizz to help me back to the dating market lol
Anything helps me glow up🙏
brother zac, please post the resuilt of that prompt here
Prob more trendy tips?
i need to know if it works for you as it did for me
you will need to use an image generator (gemini can do it)
STOP IT AL
Hahah I’ll try later tonight
why delay
We’re being sincere here
oh sorry
Al istg I’m gonna post your address
I like this authenticity
do it coward
zac you're getting good advice from these folks. I am shitposting. listen to them, they are right and kind
Okay so you’re looking for trendier clothes/styles? this probably isn’t going to do that much as far as dating by itself (clothes are never going to be a method to ‘trick’ women into dating you) but if the clothes make you feel better and more confident then that could help you with dating and also more generally
Not gonna burn my sole supply of windmill cookies
Yes any philosophy on new style selection and resources I could learn how to dress up
early 30 - male @NYC
Me
the best resource is observation; see how people are dressing now and what kinds of fits you think look cool
Going to note that what makes you feel the best/most confident about yourself isn’t always necessarily what’s trendiest as long as you like it
check #inspiration #waywt social media (@gotham.galleria @watchingnewyork @whatpeoplearewearingin are my go tos on IG)
the best thing is to start with what you think looks cool and then you can funnel from there into 'how can i dress like that'
If you drop a few things here that you find in these places and like we’d be super willing to help you achieve that!
But in general we like to let people pick the direction they’re going in (like zeo is saying) because it’s going to usually get much better results than people throwing on clothes that they don’t like and don’t feel authentic to them
Which isn’t going to make them feel better about the way that they’re dressed
Regardless of how trendy the clothes are or are not
if anyone looks like this lmk
No.
You cannot and you may not.
As much as you might want it to your computer won’t tell you you’re sexy and suck you off pal
Just ask a living woman
But the idea of needing advice from ladies on how to dress is bonkers and so so so weird
Just dress how you want to dress, don’t dress for anybody else
Perhaps the better question to ask is @zac, what are your muses? What are things about you enjoy that get ya going out and do things in the world. What do you take pleasure in? I think style is best defined by that before anything else
even if you found a bunch of women to poll, the answers would just tend towards the average. which is like a polo shirt and chinos I bet. and crucially you are clean and have washed your ass
I think this is a bit misguided beacuse it implies style should be based on things other than what you want to dress like. maybe im taking this wrong but like just beacuse you like skateboarding doesnt mean you have to dress like a skater and so on. This seems like it would lock you style into an narrow window for no reason, just look at people who dress the way you like and do that.
I mean that is a completely fair critique. But, OP really hasn’t given us much of anything to work off of. I think certain interests have certain communities with aesthetics that follow, which can be a great jumping off point when developing a sense of style. Of couse, at some point, one has to make the decision on whether those aesthetics line up with their overall sense of self-expression, but I don’t think its bad for one person to be ok staying within one lane while another is willing to color outside the lines. As long as that decision to do either or is authentic to that person, then its perfectly fine to me either way. But, you do have to start somewhere and I think your interests do strike at that core on some level.
i agree OP hasn't given much to work off of which is why the common refrain has been "find inspo that speaks to you visually"
there can be overlap between ones interests and how one dresses for them, but that can be biased by the advice giver's perceptions of that hobby or how such a person would dress in other situations
/lock
We’re just speculating without @zac weighing in tbh
Jokes aside
anyway @zac if so inclined, find stuff that speaks to you, that you think looks cool in and out of the server
Alr gang
We've definitively answered the question of 'Does anybody try ChatGPT for outfit advice'
If OP has any further specific questions about style/clothes/etc he is more than welcome to make another thread
Alternatively, @zac react to this message if you want me to reopen this thread so you can weigh in but at the moment this does not feel productive!
