Update ratos configurator
What is the solution please ?

A big thank you for your help, I preferred to redo a complete clean installation rather than tinkering with raspberry, the wifi is impeccable, I would not have arrived in your help, I continue the settings ....

solution to what?
Just update 🙂
Yes , it’s not important ?
Well you should update everything after connecting to wifi
Including the configurator, you updated everything else, why not the configurator?
Because I have a error message
Would be helpful if you showed the error message

Right, your bed thermistor is either broken or not wired to the right slot. That doesn't have anything to do with the configurator, but you should still update it.
Sorry

Gotcha, sec
you're gonna have to SSH in.. It sucks that moonraker is not able to handle simple stuff like this:
Thanks
I had quite a few other problems so I just did a complete reinstallation, you seem to know it well so if you want I will come back to help you in case of a problem,
Hello, wifi networks were not displayed so I went to ssh to activate network manager but I have this message now and I can't read the ip address of the network I'm interested in, do you have a solution? thank you very much

You're not supposed to use klipperscreen for this. We do not support network manager. Please do as the instructions say and configure everything via ratos.local/configure.
You're gonna have to reinstall at this point.
very good thank you it is not ultimately very important to have the IP, but I have 4 V minion on which everything works. after putting the sd card with ratos image, I could not find ratos local and I had to manually enter the network on the sd card?
Your are ratrig team? I have a lot of problem but I need help,a new problem is after doing beacon-initial-calibration and saving, then I do a homing and I have no beacon load.
At the moment I find the installation very complex.
Thanks for your help

I could not find ratos local and I had to manually enter the network on the sd card? You're supposed to join the hotspot. Have you not used 2.1 before?
At the moment I find the installation very complex. It's so much easier then 2.0, you're just making all the wrong assumptions and breaking things along the way. You're supposed to do BEACON_RATOS_CALIBRATE. Read the V-Core 4 comissioning guide, or the doc linked in #beacon-contact.
It’s good now , but I have a problème with VAOC
do you have any idea why z tilt is not showing?

there's no z-tilt in VAOC. Doesn't make sense.
Sorry Z offsets , I did it again and now it's here, weird.. many thanks

hello, I come back to the wifi connection of the raspberry, there is a difference on the management of the wifi between ratos V minion and ratos v4 because with the v4 I have a lot of trouble getting the connection and I am forced to turn off and on at least 2 times before finding it, is it the metal case that is the problem. With my V minion it is immediate

Could be. Also RatOS 2.1 actually respects the frequency you choose, so you might want to try connecting to 2.4ghz instead of 5.
thanks I will test that, I activated network manager in the raspberry via SSH, is it good for you or should I put dhcp ?
do not install or enable network manager
that breaks the setup
it's a mess to unfuck
you scare me, can't I just disable network in the raspberry?
No, once you've used network manager it fucks over WPA supplicant and dhcpcd. KlipperScreen dropped support for everything but network manager, so the network screen is supposed to not work. Black screen is on purpose.
You should use the RatOS configurator to configure your wifi. If you don't you lose the hotspot, and you won't be able to recover if it loses wifi connection and you have no other means of interacting with it.
Just please do as instructed 😄
It's much easier
Thank you for your explanation, it's me who made the mistake, if it doesn't work I'll reinstall everything 😔
