Here’s to another successful Fit Battle and our new fit champion @Pesty! In a surprising bout of insider knowledge @bchanx won the bracket challenge! What were your favorite fits and trends from this season’s fit battle? Does France take the lead on Internet Fashion?

Lots of bandannas and scarves and lots of jewelry this season
Ties and collared shirts well represented as always
And (at least) two of the scarves were home dyed, if I remember right. Pretty sick

You gotta stabilize it but then the colours turn greenish

Re: fit battle, I’m sad we didn’t have any “barto ascension” type moments but it was a good one, I really loved meatwater’s quals fit with the “hair tie” and I think my semi finals set is one of the best ones I’ve done so I’m happy with that

I’d be interested to see the advance you had on Evane
When you’re in it, it feels like so many fits but looking back I’m like wth where are all the pictures

There were some reaaally close ones and some huge gaps, it’s interesting which ones go which way
Don’t want to make anyone feel bad with specifics though
Voter counts overall were much higher which is fun
Saw a lot of new names in the discussions channel which is great
Hope to see a lot of new faces in the next one
I have been eliminated twice now wearing my FCW sweater vest so I might retire it LOL
i loved that fit char
that was a case of "what the actual fuck is he going to submit i guess i have to do something" and that's how i wore three pairs of pants
it's interesting to see an endgame of people with relatively defined styles and the progression thereof within each round
I think the long top half reverse layered silhouette is just a hard sell for the median voter
fit battle foretold the big coat meta currently invading #waywt and i suspect diy meta is going to be more prevalent, for which i am excited
I want people to take the diy spirit into just regular dressing

there'a a definite benefit (both in fit battle and in general) to having a vision of your fit and finding a way to achieve it vs settling
really nice to see people like shrimp japan, virt, seth, twiggy, etc; people who i contend dress really well and acquit to this sort of domain
who knows if/what will come next for me (this is fun and exhausting) but i am now 0/2 wearing milsurp so that is well and dead

Yeah it was inspiring! Lots of really creative fits that also just looked comfortable and fun to wear
lol I think I’m with lyon in that I’d be more terrified of winning a round than losing

i nearly lost my mind trying to think that meta, it was a lot more impactful for me to just find what inspires me and pursue it
