Is this material composition breathable?
I'll be using the turtleneck sweater as a layering piece, with a jacket over it. it doesn't get too cold here ( winter's around 20°C / 68°F), so it's important for me that it's not too sweaty.

This depends on the weave but acrylic tends to be less breathable than natural fibers
this seems like overkill for 68 degrees, especially with a jacket
true, I never get a chance to layer stuff.. 🫠
Acrylic is not breathable.
It's basically plastic.
It's an awful, cheap fabric for knitwear.

I don't mind synthetics (unless they're being used as filler) but acrylic is the one I'll avoid unless it's present in insignificant amounts, ex: colored specks in tweeds or for other small details. It breathes horribly and it pills like crazy
If winter goes down to only 20°C and you still want to wear sweaters I would search for cotton sweaters.
