Structures not being rendered by DH
Attached you will see what I'm talking about. Is there a setting that someone is familiar with that can help?

Is this generated by a structure mod?
Negative sir, I put it in my data pack
It was originally a mod called "aether villages" but I converted it
Did you add the datapack after creating the LODs?
I generated a new world after making the datapack
I have a mod called global packs so it's impossible to add it after
So this datapack was active the whole duration of this world existing? Then it's odd it didn't render the structure
It only rendered a part of the structure... Its a very large structure so maybe it just rendered the first chunks where the structure started?
To fix it, you can try regenerating the LODs, or force update every chunk by placing/breaking a few block in every chunk while cpu load is at a high value in dh's settings
Yeah maybe, I'm not sure how world generation works
I'm about to create a new world, so we'll see how that works
Well, I'm making a modpack right now, and best case I'd prefer if the player could see large structures as points of interest in the distance
I remember there being a conversation about structure sizes here somewhere, but I cant seem to find it
Only way to fix this is to pregen the world first
DH generation if mulithreaded and when the structure generates it can't acces the ungenerated yet chunks around it
Sometimes the structure gnerates more properly in DH chunks sometimes less properly
The issue should be smaller on DH 2.1.2, but the generation on that versiuon is 35% slower
How would you recommend I pregen the world? and does that work for dimensions?
You would have to pregen every dimension you want structures to display properly separately
Just use Chunky with C2ME
- Remove DH
- Add Chunky and C2ME
- Run Pregen
- Remove Chunky and C2ME
- Add DH
Okay, thank you very much for the help, I'll have to try this when I run a playtest
I'm sure it will take a loooong time to generate
