Why make false claims
Let's suppose the earth is flat. (The validity of the statement is not important for my questions)
The following statements are things commonly associated with FE and I'll list them here for transparency:
* The spherical earth and heliocentric model are a conspiracy
* Space doesn't exist in the form claimed by "scientists"
Please explain to me:
Why would a false claim about the earth's shape be made? [1]
What is gained? [2]
This is important, because a conspiracy of this scale is nothing simple. So the rewards would have to be grand.
For this to work, an unprecedented level of global cooperation is required. Why has no county steped out of line?[3]
It's undeniable that officially humans are rather active in space. Things like satellites, space stations, (un-)manned moon missions, mars rovers, telescopes,... From my understanding this wouldn't be possible on a FE. So why waste the resources required to fake all that?[4] (No matter who is responsible for doing it, faking two space stations, faking moon landings, faking EVAs, faking data for dozens of probes and rovers (with tons of sensors), providing all the services in another way to fake the existence of satellites, is a lot of work) Therefore hundreds of thousands of people have to be involved. Why risk the involvement of so many[5]

I seem to be unable to reply in any way, so I'll add on here:
I explicitly stated, that these questions are asked with the assumption that the earth is flat. So any discussion/replies focusing on the shape of the earth are pointless and ignore the actual questions asked here.

There is no supposing the earth is flat, when we all experience and observe earth as flat and stationary. What is supposed is a spinning ball which is contrary to reality. Scientists determine cause and effect so they have no say in the fairy tale of "space". You indicated humans are active in space. That's like saying sandra bullock in her movie is "gravity" is active in space when she's actually active in hollywood and you see all this stuff on a computer, tv, or phone screen.
It dosen't matter what they gain or why they would make false-claims., you don’t critically consider the reasoning behind the expert consensus or about why they would lie, or when you defer entirely to authority without engaging with the actual arguments and data.
Your reasoning is fallacious (Appeal to motive) and skips over the possibility that false claims can be made for various reasons that don't necessarily involve sinister motives, and it assumes that a false claim can only have value if it benefits someone. It also disregards the actual evidence or arguments that might support or refute the claim itself. To summarize, You're just focusing on questioning the purpose behind a claim rather than addressing its truth or falsity directly.
Appeal to motive is irrelevant to the discussion because it's purely speculative. One could say money is a motive, control over worldview can be another, but whether or not I or anyone else can come up with believable motives has no bearing on the fact that the earth is measured flat showing no drop over distance or rate of change of slope. If I or anyone else cannot come up with a good enough motive, does it then negate the empirical evidence? Of course not.
Now you say you want to assume the earth is flat, that's just a wrong way of beginning any investigation. If you're saying it to be charitable it's not necessary since it's measurable.
The truth is that those who believe in the globe, including myself when I used to believe in it, assume that despite the earth appearing flat it is actually curving, despite the earth being motionless it is assumed to be spinning, and despite having breathable air next to an expanding universe with no means of containment it is assumed gravity can reverse an increase in entropy. Despite not being there ourselves people like to assume that humans are out in space doing things and to assume that everyone who has claimed to be there (approximately 600 people) are telling the truth despite the plot holes in a narrative that doesn't seem to exist in reality but rather in text books and on TV.
The need to assume things is habitual of those who remain deeply rooted in the globalist worldview of the universe. Once you stop assuming and empirically investigate the world around you, you will find that it simply does not comport with the geometric claim we have all be fed as unquestioning children, and that natural laws of reality also do not align with their space narrative. No assumptions needed.
[5], It's not so much about "faking everything" but rather about controlling and fabricating certain key aspects of information—like photos, videos, and data—which is much more feasible than maintaining a real space program.
For instance, satellite images of Earth could be easily created in high-quality CGI or through high-altitude balloons with fish-eye lens, which are much more affordable and achievable than actually sending objects into space, we may not know their real motives or why alot of countries are on it but the truth still remains the truth and your reasoning does not provide evidence.
"Let's suppose the earth is flat. (The validity of this statement is not important for my questions)..."
Right here you just tried to set the stage for the biggest cope question going.. why would they lie. We have a whole channel on that but it's avoiding the facts.
Fact -> earth is practically used as flat and stationary.
Fact -> earth is measured as flat and stationary
This whole question is about motive and ignoring the facts. You go here for some sort of understanding we can't give you. We are not the liars here. We present facts. Like for instance the fact that cognitive dissonance has occurred within you.

your questions are about human sociology not a flat earth.
even is we gave you some subjective opinion about why humans do this or that, it would be speculation.
We don't read minds.
