Physics mod pro visual bug
Hello !
It's there a way to fix this visual bug with physics mod pro ?
I am using DH 2.1.2a (the last version compatible with Oculus)
Thanks !

I'm not sure what am I looking at, though I see that it is broken
That said I'm using Physics mod pro without any issues
What other mods do you have?
Does it happen with only DH and PM?
It's like the water have priority over Distant Horizons, it goes always in front of it
I will try with only the 2 mods and send another pic π
By the way I play with a small render distance, this is why near chunks are already rendered by DH
That is normal for DH rendering, but both DH and shaders should do manual water depth check and remove every water that is not in front
Ok I'm an idiot I was playing with the wrong version of physics pro
I'm on forge and I was using fabric
With the only 2 mods installed it works fine, I can't replicate the bug
Thanks !
Oops the problem is still here
It wasn't due to the fabric version...
The screenshot was taken on a server, and it only happens when on server
The configs for physics are the same on client and server
Of course when I turn off ocean physics client side it works fine (just haven't tested before, it was to be sure it was ocean physics)
I know it works with DH 2.2+ and Iris/Oculus 1.7.5
Try updating DH and Oculus
Oculus 1.7.5 is an experimental alpha, but it is the only thing avaible on forge
The best fix would be to use fabric

You need to be logged in
I don't have GitHub account π
I didn't know there was an Oculus in dev version
I currently don't use Iris because I get the flywheel error (because of Create or another mod that uses flywheel system)
Is there any other way to get it ?
I use Create, Iris 1.7.5, DH 2.2.1/2.3 with No issues
Try installing Flywheel Iris compat
Okay
Someone can DM you the jar, but I canβt right now
You can also try building it yourself
The problem is that, even without shaders (Oculus or Iris installed) I ge the bug
With DH latest release
This is very strange
I will try with 2.3
It seems to work fine with 2.3
But DH cache isn't compatible ?
The LOD format hasn't changed in 2.3. Is it just that LODs from before you changed to 2.3 don't load anymore, or do no LODs at all load?
LOD are fixed π
For some reason it generates in "minecraft@@overworld_8823189866303904881" folder, no more in "overworld" folder
Now I have to make shaders work
When trying to load the game with latest release of Iris and Sodium and Flywheel compat, I get this error (fabric versions of the mods for 1.20.1)
When loading with Oculus, Embeddium and Flywheel compat I get this one (forge versions of the mods for 1.20.1)
At least there's no more water glitches but no more shaders too π
Does anyone could share the latest Oculus version ? (Forge 1.20.1)
Or any idea how I could add shaders with DH 2.3 ?
Try downgrading Create
Though I donβt know why you see this as I use a combo of just newest versions
I remember!
Give me a second
Alright π
Or an hour I need to go right now
No problem
Never mind, that was not it :/
Oh π
When I get home, I will send the working version numbers for fabric
In 2-3 hours if I remember
Thanks π
I have on Fabric MC 1.20.1:
- physics-mod-pro-v171a-fabric-1.20.1
- DH 2.3 (in-dev from 05.10)
- Create Fabric 0.5.1-f-build.1417+mc1.20.1 (newest)
- Embeddium 0.3.25+mc1.20.1 (newest)
- Iris 1.7.5+1.20.1 (newest)
- Iris & Oculus Flywheel Compat 1.1.4 (newest)
Also this dependency override to avoid some conflicts with Create and Embeddium
You can load it without Sodium ?
I don't see why not, I can test it in a minute
This is the error I get
Embeddium was giving me more fps and better visuals when without shaders
I'm still on Forge tho, just using synitra connector
Sure
Oh, that might break a lot of stuff
But Iris always need Sodium π€
I know I know
On fabric, Embeddium reports partly as Sodium and some mods have an optional dependency for Embeddium instead of Sodium
Yeah
It just looks werid to me that Iris was fine with Embeddium
But ok
Can't you go with fabric?
I can try to send you the Oculus jar if you really need it
My modpack is on Forge, and most of the mods are only available on Forge π
So I'm just trying to get the shaders working with physics
Well I didn't try with it yet
It may fix it π€·ββοΈ
I've sent the GitHub file in a DM
Never used it so IDK what is inside
I guess unpack it and try to find the mod inside
Thanks!
