Lag spikes when turning

What can I do to mitigate lag spikes when turning? It happens even when rendering is off. And to confirm it's from DH, uninstalling it removes the spikes. And some people say this is a common DH issue. Are there plans to fix this?

try decreasing cpu load in dh's settings

The issue seems to be fixed by itself after reinstalling DH :shrug: but I'll try minimal cpu load next time
