Your Default Character Skin - Topic of the day 10/29/24

What is your 'default' outfit? (I encourage narrowing it to only one if possible) How does it serve your day to day needs? How does it express your particular style? Are there any limitations to this fit, and how do you handle those?

I think this is a pretty representive fit of what ive been wearing, wide jeans, a tee, and this same blue jacket and my bag, and this belt. Its a fit i think looks good and the jacket is a nice weight for the weather right now, the outfit feels fun but also still super casual and comfy to wear whenever

highly similar to this: b/w iron heart flannel, b/w tee, b/w iron heart jeans, black sneakers, it is passable in basically all contexts by buttoning up or down the shirt

I think the last couple months it's definitely been unbuttoned shirt, tee, wideish pants, sneakers. Transitioning into colder fall weather, it'll certainly be sweater/jumper, pants (most likely cords), and boots. I work from home everyday, so I try to wear stuff that I feel both comfortable in at home AND I could wear if I needed to dip out of the apartment for a quick errand. I feel pretty comfortable with the default uniform but not really fully satisfied.

Working from home, I'm sadly always in sweatpants and a sweatshirt/hoodie as it edges into fall and the colder months. It suits my needs but the limitation is I'm that guy always in sweats. I change it up with different sweatshirts and sneakers In the summer, I'm the skinnyfat dude rocking vuori at home

Honestly....work is 5 days/week so I feel like "default" has to be what I wear to work. So dress shirt/pants (no jacket). To date, I think I did a reasonable job picking colors that match but that was all the effort I put in. Here aiming to do a little better!

I posted this as a waywt a few days ago. It's very practical - hardy clothes, lots of layers, water tight, pockets, gloves, subglasses, headphones. But also full of sentimental pieces and elements I love: showing the edge of a white tshirt under a pullovers; high waisted jeans in a 1920s cut; that particular leather color in the shoes and jacket; red wires. I'm also wearing a necklace from my grandma and studs from my other grandma. About half the fit is thrifted, including the very high-end jacket. https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1299512917707980884

Spicy stuff! I like that the shirt has a pink hue. Small detail but makes the whole thing very cohesive!
