Your Default Character Skin - Topic of the day 10/29/24
What is your 'default' outfit? (I encourage narrowing it to only one if possible) How does it serve your day to day needs? How does it express your particular style? Are there any limitations to this fit, and how do you handle those?

my spring/summer default, any pair of jeans and any super thin white tee/tank top
it works its good i dont have to think
I dont think i have a picture of it but polo harrington jacket, brycelands denim western shirt, lemaire military cargos, danner hiking boots are kinda all my default options
I think this is a pretty representive fit of what ive been wearing, wide jeans, a tee, and this same blue jacket and my bag, and this belt. Its a fit i think looks good and the jacket is a nice weight for the weather right now, the outfit feels fun but also still super casual and comfy to wear whenever
highly similar to this: b/w iron heart flannel, b/w tee, b/w iron heart jeans, black sneakers, it is passable in basically all contexts by buttoning up or down the shirt
It's hard to say I've got a default skin anymore
I used to be a t-shirt and jeans person
i'm rarely just that anymore
this was when i started to wear polo rl
about july this year
Of course, now I've been getting into fashion, it's been more varied than that
Shirt, pants, guidis
hat/champion reverse weave/casey 501s/vans
Dope :linkCool:
and variations therein
i just keep changing shirts
i promise it’ll get better when i have more pants variety again
I think the last couple months it's definitely been unbuttoned shirt, tee, wideish pants, sneakers. Transitioning into colder fall weather, it'll certainly be sweater/jumper, pants (most likely cords), and boots. I work from home everyday, so I try to wear stuff that I feel both comfortable in at home AND I could wear if I needed to dip out of the apartment for a quick errand. I feel pretty comfortable with the default uniform but not really fully satisfied.
mine is exactly what I’m wearing today unsurprisingly
$10 ocbd from eBay, old jeans, and aldens
Summer winter whatever it’s always this
Working from home, I'm sadly always in sweatpants and a sweatshirt/hoodie as it edges into fall and the colder months. It suits my needs but the limitation is I'm that guy always in sweats. I change it up with different sweatshirts and sneakers
In the summer, I'm the skinnyfat dude rocking vuori at home
pre much this, if i'm struggling to put together a fit the ohio will consume me
oh the cardinal shirt is CUTE i love it
Thank you! I picked it while vacationing in Richmond
Its this one. Breton tee is my most worn top by a wide margin. Denim pants and cowboy boots
in this weather it's big hoodie wide jeans chunky sneakers/boots/shoes (these are all from the past month)
in warmer months replace hoodie with big dress shirt
probably this - white shirt, big goofy pants, shoes, trucker. sometimes it's chinos, sometimes there's a jacket or a tie along with it
Tweed, denim and suede...like this sort of thing I've been posting lately.
Honestly....work is 5 days/week so I feel like "default" has to be what I wear to work. So dress shirt/pants (no jacket). To date, I think I did a reasonable job picking colors that match but that was all the effort I put in. Here aiming to do a little better!
Literally my pfp on a bunch of things
I think i like brown and green.
I posted this as a waywt a few days ago. It's very practical - hardy clothes, lots of layers, water tight, pockets, gloves, subglasses, headphones. But also full of sentimental pieces and elements I love: showing the edge of a white tshirt under a pullovers; high waisted jeans in a 1920s cut; that particular leather color in the shoes and jacket; red wires. I'm also wearing a necklace from my grandma and studs from my other grandma. About half the fit is thrifted, including the very high-end jacket. https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1299512917707980884
Honestly struggle to wear anything else right now, which isn't helping my fashion journey at all ><
the brown suit you're wearing next to the car is killer
Brown gabardine mtm. My absolute favorite.
Spicy stuff!
I like that the shirt has a pink hue. Small detail but makes the whole thing very cohesive!
