Scan Content only when changes are detected
If we own a lot of asset is quite annoying wait for a complete scan every time (Ok, is not so long time consuming but it would be nice to scan content just if a change in the library has been done)

Hey @angel777 π
I don't have many assets at all, so if you could give me a little more info here that would be awesome!
Do you mean that each time you open our Content Library in the "Current Project" view, it takes a while to load as it is scanning? Could you record a video of this so I can get a feeling of how long this takes? π€ I have never noticed any delay, but I guess that's cause I have very very few assets
Hi π
Yes, just the first time I open the content library it takes about 30-40 seconds to scan 14000 assets and 2000 atlases
ah, actually it does not scan, it is loading the assets in to be viewed. But this process should be a background process so it should not affect your ability to start working. Does it do that? If so, seeing it on video would be greatπ
I join the request of the topikstarter. In my case, the assemblies are loaded from NAS. I realize that over the network it is not fast, but it would not be bad to have some kind of indexing of assets that would load faster. also it would be great if you can include forced indexing if that would do a check of assets. And to have a folder of own collections.
Sorry for the link. I couldn't shrink the file to 10 mb.

Thanks for the video! @Costantino Any thoughts on these suggestions?π€
Some optimizations are possible, and actually already in progress. We are doing our best to balance new features and speed ups as things similar to personal collections and more are on the way.
The behaviour is exactly the same as for @siberia_previz. I can start working but I have to wait for searching the assets I need π
For me, the process, is a little faster as I'm not on NAS but the loading time of 14000 assets is the same...
