Problems with shadows on floating islands
I'm using a floating islands mod but I'm having problems with DH cause it doesn't feel natural, I may have some config wrong or something.
The expected behavior would be to appear more like the second image.

I don't think there is much you can do
I think there was some light engine change in DH 2.3 so you can try the nightly
But I don't promise any improvement
You will also have to regenerate those LODs to see any changes
