How do I know if there are new mods that are affecting the rendering?
I added the mod to 1.21.1 along with the following mods (see image). The mods all work, as well as two shaders I have added. I updated everything to the latest but when I join the server, the distance is the same, even loaded chunks wont appear after the set render distance. I have a few friends in the server who say it worked fine when I suggested they add the mod.

also i have a few mods they don't, which is why i thought something was wrong on my end
hm, it seems when i fly over the chunks, the ones i was at stay loaded, but the generation is uneven, and some corners are real close to me or im above them and their not even rendering, until much later
i can record a video

this is a aternos server btw with no more than 3 people playing
is it just my cpu?:
Remove Indium
/server
Distant Generation doesn't work in multiplayer, meaning DH won't be able to generate LODs for chunks outside the vanilla render distance.
Instead, as you travel around the world, LODs will be generated for areas you've visited.
In the next update, DH 2.3, you will be able to add DH to your server granted it's running a compatible mod/plugin loader (Fabric, (Neo)Forge, Bukkit and their derivatives). This will allow the server to generate LODs and send them to the client, making distant generation possible on multiplayer.
If you wish to try 2.3 early, read everything in this thread: https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1285883332768563284
Keep in mind that this build is still experimental, we do not encourage using it on large servers until further testing.
Oh i see. Thanks for the clarification!
No problem
is this version 3 of DH
on aternos
also why should i remove Indium?
Version 0.6.0 of Sodium does not need Indium, and having it can result in weird behavior
No, that is only the API part of DH
I don’t think aternos allowes the use of nightlies
I think i had it for complimentary unbound
But il try the game without and see how it goes
Complementary is a shader, and Indium is a mod, shaders interact only with the shader loader, a.k.a. Iris/Oculus/Optifine (no DH support)
Iris 1.8 requires Sodium 0.6.0 and with Sodium 0.6.0 Indium is not required
ok thank you
