Does everything check out?
i believe so! so sorry for the late reply
it should all check out apart from the fabric part, i’m on forge but is fabric api a different t mod?
What does your mods list look like?
You dont need the fabric api
Fabric API is in fact a separate mod, but as Puhpine said, it is not needed with forge
Oculus version is same as Iris, Embeddium version is the one that works with the good Oculus version
thats the mod list
it didnt work b4 i added sodium
You can't use optifine
It doesn't have shader support
On forge 1.20.1, shader support is not great. Either use oculus 1.7.0 with embeddium and DH 2.1.2, or use the oculus from this link: https://github.com/Asek3/Oculus/actions/runs/11198312573/artifacts/2020008921 with embeddium and DH 2.2.1
I sincerely doubt that adding sodium made it work, as that version of sodium is made for fabric, not forge
okay i will try it now, ty guys so much for putting up with my dumbness <3
just to clarify, im asssuming yes but all of this is client side right?
correct
okay great, i'll try it now :)
i downloaded oculus and embeddium from curseforge launcher becauyse the link you sent comes up with page not found but thi keeps popping up
the one from curseforge/modrinth wont work
login in github and try the link again
alright, should i extract that into my mod file or just put the zip in there? should i aslo remove embeddium from my launcher?
extract the zip, put the normal looking jar file into your mods folder, keep embeddium
all of these?
the normal looking one
the top one
its working! thank you so much.
Nice!
