Any idea on how to improve nighttime shading on builds?

The build I sent as an example is quite bright, but the LODs don't really reflect that, sadly. I tried placing light blocks in the dark areas and waiting a bit to let the LODs refresh but no cigar unfortunately.

Looks pretty bright to me but if you wanted to brighten it even more you could try either using a shader or coding your own just for that purpose Sorry but I don't know any way of brightening lods (that doesn't mean there isn't one though)

You can increase LOD brigtness in settings

Is that new or have I just been absolutely oblivious to it this entire time?

It's not new but it's also not very helpful in this case

Yes because all of the lods will brighten

Im not referring to the overall brightness, but the fact that the brightness is "missing" on a large portion of the build

I don't think there is much you can do about it

You could try and code a shader or find a shader that does the job for you as I mentioned earlier

You can try increasing vertical quality and playing with LOD brightness and contrast (IIrc both exist)

All you need is a very basic border line default shader which shouldn't be too hard
