shutdown: ADC out of range - I think I found out why, but I can't figure out a permanent fix

I received this error at first start up, fumbled around the internet for data on the thermistor and toolboard (EBB42 V1.2), and found that the default pull-up resistor value is set to 2200 ohm when it should be set to 4700 ohm. At least, I am fairly confident of this because it worked in getting the temperature sensor to read correctly. The issue now is that the value doesn't stay in the RatOS.cfg file. It seems to revert back to 2200 ohm if the Rpi reboots. I can (and do) just go in and change the value each time. Assuming the correct action was to change 2200 to 4700, is there a way to make this change permanent so I don't have to keep going into the cfg file to edit?

Make the change in your printer.cfg instead
