vc4 500: What am I looking at?

If I'm reading this graph correctly the lower belt should be tensioned in order to achieve the same tension as the upper belt. But doing so results in a skewed gantry. Could something else be at play or are the differences in peak heights normal?

your shaper numbers look great which is the most important graphs. You can leave it as is and move on if you want. Otherwise you could try to tighten the lower belt one tooth. Just loosen that block just enough to be able to pull the belt and feel the one tooth "bump" through the block. I am not sure if its worth chasing with those numbers. I think most people are getting low 3k on y for 500s. as for skew, you have two things you can try to do but they both mess with belt tension so you would be back to playing with tension. First would be to loosen the 6 bolts that attach the jointer plates to the x gantry. the one on top and the two on the bottom on both sides. With those loose move the gantry back and forth by hand about 10 times and then hold is straight against the front if you removed the y end stop or the back bearing stacks and tighten the bolts. You can do the same exact thing with the 8 screws that attach the jointer plates to the y carriages. Both of those can help get rid of any skew. The 2nd option will do more but also messes with your belt tension more, at least from my experience
