boots too big?
So I bought a pair of size 7 Thursday Boots stomper. I wear 7.5/8 US in adidas sneakers.
They recommend half a size down from sneaker size.
I’m short and skinny so I’m afraid they will look like clown shoes on me lol

Where the toes end isn't important in sizing. You want the widest part of your foot to line up with the widest part of the shoe.
Not really no. Although the flex point when walking kinda digs into my toe knuckles/joints

where the two bottom laces are is kinda tight against my feet actually, but I guess that will stretch with wear. other than that yes
I'm ngl, I don't think I've ever looked at someone's shoe and thought "that's too big for their body"
yeah, it's not like I can go down more than 1 size either since their smallest size is 6 haha
A large part of how shoes look is how they interact with the pants you're wearing. People like to say Iron Rangers are like clown shoes but that's only bc people were wearing them with really slim pants
