Run docker localhost, configured API to serve on 3001 but WEB still hits 3000
I serve docker on localhost with api setup to serve on 3001 but web still hits 3000

I'd change your api NODE_ENV to dev and change your API port to 3000 - the canonical one. That's in API_ROOTURL, API ports: , PORT
If that fails I'd strip the .env and hardcode the values in the docker-compose to test one by one, then revert when happy
I need api port to be 3001

everything is okay in default case
but I specifically want it to be on 3001 port
