Looking for the correct setting to alter to fix...
To fix this issue. Unless it is caused by supplementaries mod.. It seems as if the chunks above are casting some kind of "shadow-like" artifact that disapears when i fly close. I've tried multiple different settings and am unsure which if there is a setting that can fix this. Any help is appreciated!

Without shaders enabled:
Try disabling cave culling

If it isn't completely fixed even with cave culling disabled, you'll probably need to explore the area once for DH to update the LODs correctly
This is because the DH generator skips caves to improve generation speed as mentioned here

But after that with cave culling off you should be able to see everything just fine
