[Worker-Main-16/INFO]: Distant horizons compatibility disabled.
What mod would send this message related to DH? Here is my mod list. I suspect c2me but i dont see any options specific about it in the config

C2ME slows DH down by ~30% so remove it
As for the info I have no idea
I suspect Gig Globe or Lithium
Clientside right?
context of original messages is just serverside stuff
On the side DH runs the generation
If you have DH on the server, C2ME on the server will slow it down
no dh on server just client
any reason to put it on server?
/server
Distant Generation doesn't work in multiplayer, meaning DH won't be able to generate LODs for chunks outside the vanilla render distance.
Instead, as you travel around the world, LODs will be generated for areas you've visited.
In the next update, DH 2.3, you will be able to add DH to your server granted it's running a compatible mod/plugin loader (Fabric, (Neo)Forge, Bukkit and their derivatives). This will allow the server to generate LODs and send them to the client, making distant generation possible on multiplayer.
If you wish to try 2.3 early, read everything in this thread: https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1285883332768563284
Keep in mind that this build is still experimental, we do not encourage using it on large servers until further testing.
You won’t have to explore the world to see the LODs
oh my god its my dream come true
will 2.3 require clients to have dh installed when on the server or can they still join vanilla and just play normal
when the server has dh 2.3 installed (whenever that happens)
nvm my server already cant be joined on a vanilla client lol im dumb
huh? Why wouldn't you be able to have both? I would understand fabric blocking vanilla clients but bukkit should be able to distinguish between players who have DH and Players who Dont and send the files accordingly
its an unrelated mod
Big Globe
Yes, vanilla can still join the server with server side DH
