Memory Leaks when generating worlds
When pre-generating single player worlds using chunky or distant horizons it takes up so much memory and will eventually crash even with 4-20gb of ram allocated (ddr4 @3600mhz).
Now I am using a world generation mod called Big Globe, which gives super tall mountains and goes very deep, Which definitely does not help.
How can I make it so I don’t run out of memory every time I want to generate a world? if i pre generate the world without DH it seems like dh never builds the LOD when I join with it.

actually when checking the data it seems like DH will build the lod at a very slow rate (a few MB/s) after pre generating the world without DH
also these artifacts show up on the LOD and this is only specific when i am using the big globe mod
someone mentioned turning off cave culling so maybe i will try that
Alternatively you can set the cave culling height to 0 for when you are using big globe to fix the floating island columns issue
Its better than turning it off entirely
But I've got no clue about memory leaks, somebody else is going to help soon for sure
According to Builderb0y, chunky and big globe doesn't mix well
And causes a lot of memory leak
It's better to just generate it manually
Also
/chunky
Chunky is known to cause LODs to turn into swiss cheese and bloat up world size, as can be seen in the attached screenshot.
We recommend you enable "Distant Generation" in Distant Horizons' settings and wait.
If you actually want to pre-generate vanilla chunks along with LOD data, disable Distant Horizons, wait for chunky to finish, then re-enable Distant Horizons.
Set the cave culling height to 0 as the guy above me said
Big globe makes the sea level y=0
The reason as to why hasn't been known yet
Because he doesn't bother that much
