mash Strange swolt
Hello I have this strange swolt in the left back / middle corner.
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be ?

what size bed and we need to full screen shot to see the right hand side numbers
@03Julian04 to the right of your mesh picture are the range numbers. We need to see that as well
You can also see on the left min and max so range is 0,187
its just easier having all the data
so the recommendation is any bed that is <0.1% height map is perfectly fine. So for a 500mm bed thats 0.5mm. It looks like you are well under half of that. A really flat 500mm bed is 0.2mm range. Most are 0.250 - 0.350mm
klipper can deal with a lot. When my 500mm warms up it gets around 1.0mm - 1.2mm warp, which is due to the gantry not the bed
That’s why I have installed an titanium gantry 😊
The weird thing is that I have disassembled my x gantry because the screws were to loose and after I reassembled everything I got this blob bevor the disassambeling there was no blob
that is a titanium gantry installed? If so your bed mesh is amazing for a 500mm printer. Be happy with it and start printing
Now it is okay 😁 but have massive first layer issues
I posted about this in the ratos support maybe you can have a look and have any ideas ?

what bed temp you printing at? Is the printer enclosed? Are you letting the printer warm up? The gantry on a 500mm machine is 725mm. Its going to need some time to heat up and the entire printer temperature stabilize otherwise you are going to have first layer issues.
105 degrees and yes the printer is enclosed. I testet with preheat from 30 min to 2 hours (after 30 min I have a stable temperature of 55 degrees inside )
sorry if I asked you this in another channel, where is the gantry parked when you heat it up? mine works fairly well if its parked at 250,250,2 on my 500mm machine. I let it heat soak for 15-30 minutes for a 60c bed temp for PLA and 45-60 minutes for 100c bed temp for ABS/ASA.
250,250,5
I don’t think that 3 mm z distance make a big different
next time you print, give it a try. I found that worked for my vc3 500 and has been decent on the vc4 500 so far
when I get some time I'll measure the gantry warming up at z5 instead of z2. I temporarily added a pt1000 to the gantry last weekend to do some thermal testing so I have that data at z2
Ah yes that would be great and yes I will test it too (but don’t forget I have an titan rail that is one more thing why I don’t think that the 3mm difference will make an effect but hey it’s a 3d printer everything is possible haha so I will test it this evening)
ahh forgot you have the titanium rail already. You should get decent first layers. do you have any gantry twist profiles, etc configured in ratos?
No have deleted everything
Here is my printer.cfg
