Iris and Distant Horizon not compatible??
I cant understand why its not working it should be...
I cant find any more recent iris versions

- Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.20.6, 1.21
- Sodium 0.5.8+
- Iris 1.7.0 - 1.7.3

yes but i cant find iris 1.7.5 it doesnt exist
You need Iris 1.7.5 or 1.8 for DH 2.2
It does not exist for 1.20.4
Only for 1.20.1 and 1.21.(1)

Iris no longer maintains 1.20.4 version so it will never be compatible again
DH 2.2+ will be compatible with Iris only on MC 1.20.1, 1.21.0, 1.21.1 and future MC versions

why?
You'll have to ask the iris devs that, but the answer will probably be that it's a lot of work to support multiple minecraft versions.
It's easy for DH because it doesn't embed itself into minecraft nearly as much
