Not Working With Forge 1.20.6
I downloaded the file from the Cure Forge forum for 1.20.6 for forge and when its dowloaded it is listen as neo-forge and will not working with my version of regular forge.I have no other mods installed atm and its just for singleplayer. When I go into Minecraft its just not listed in the mods menu. I have had other mods installed that work just fine so just confused, thanks.

Forge 1.20.6 is not supported

DH support Forge on MC <= 1.20.4
Above that (1.20.6+) only fabric and neoforge are natively supported
And Quilt should work
do you recomend just downloading one of those or just an older version of forge
Best mod support in on MC 1.20.1 just behind it is 1.21.1
So I would recommend those version
As for the loader I use Fabric

Though E.G. Create has a Fabric version as well as Forge one
do i have to remove forge or will it just instal over it? sorry ive only ever used technic lol
Usually it will just install alongside it
So in the launcher you will have separate forge and fabric

But I guess that depends on the launcher
