Need help please: „Error during homing contact: Contact triggered while accelerating“ /RatRig V4 500
Hello everyone with the command „BEACON_CREATE_SCAN_COMPENSATION_MESH BED_TEMP=100 PROFILE=PEI_100“ I get an error message at different points every time.
I have already tested the other command „BED_MESH_CALIBRATE BeD_TEMP=100 PROBE_METHOD=contact USE_CONTACT_AREA=1
SAMPLES=2 SAMPLES_DROP=1 SAMPLES_TOLERANCERETRIES=10 PROFILE=PEI 100“ but I get the same error.
I have already tested everything for strength, so really everything from the nozzle to the X Y joints.
Printer is a RatRig V4 500.

Is it always on the same Position or random?
It is random
Can you lift your z offset and try again? So some more Space for the nozzle, to Check the beacon

max_z_accel?
Change it to 30 and try againhave you upgraded RatOS recently. Also is the printer in performance mode?
Can you elaborate on what performance mode is?
under configurator one of the last steps is hardware and there is a button to select performance mode. I can get screenshots later if you cannot find it. Also make sure everything is fully upgraded on RatOS and make sure your hot end, nozzle and any nozzle extenders are tight.
After setting the microsteps from z to 16 I haven’t any problems anymore
Oh, I didn't even see this when I was configuring. I ended up manually increasing the current in printer.cfg
