This error message appears in chat even when chat messages should be disabled

other info if it's relevant
none of these should be affecting DH but I'll include it anyways
also, I'm at walking speed in one area, there is no way I can go slower
the game runs smoothly despite the message, so it would be nice to find a way to actually hide it
