Variations in Layer Lines Around Geometry Changes
This issue is most evident on the front hull of a benchy. Not the band of varied extrusion around the middle of the front hull.
I often get variations like this around layers where the print's geomtry changes significantly. In this case, the band starts where the deck of the ship begins printing, and ends where the bottom lip of the railing on the back of the ship ends.
This happens regardless of material, tuning flow, layer thickness, temperature etc.

Just as a sanity check I printed a cylinder which does not contain the same band. I.e. rules out z-wobble.

tried printing outside perimiter first?
Not perfect but 90% better. Wild. That's not an artifact I would've anticipated being caused by that.
