You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link.Or you can just send you mod list
My guess it that you either have wrong Sodium/Iris or another mod is incompatible with the new versions
this is my entire mod list
which version of iris should i install
im trying to install a new version of dh because of this
this grid i see on the desert
thats a problem with WWOO
updating your DH will not fix it
the crash youre seeing is likely an incompatability between sodium 0.6 and some other mod
Remove Indium
Install Sodium 0.6.0 and Iris 1.8
He does not have it
Yet
he does?
oh he has the wrong sodium
Yes
i saw they had iris 1.8 so i assumed he must have sodium 0.6 at least
i have it
i can launch the game
but when i launch a world my game crashes
im on 1.20.1
ima try to uninstall indium
i cant launch a world
wutgout my game crashing
without*
So you have sodium 0.6 now?
You replaced your sodium with a different version?
im pretty sure i did
its alpha tho
alpha iris 1.8
and sodium alpha 0.6
ill try using a nightly build of dh
my game keeps crashing everytime i launch a world
Here you've send Sodium 5.10
i know iv installed 0.6
One or more of the mods is most likely not compatible with Sodium 0.6.0
You can try /binary search to find which
Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it.
So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.
is there a way to fix the grid pattern
when I have WWOO
i saw u have to put the line
mixin.gen.chunk_region=false
on lithium.properties
Yes it was for a similar bug, but it was fixed in DH 2.2.1
The line is basicaly added for you
This WWOO bug is weird as not all people have it
And some get it only after some time
I myself never had any WWOO problems
is there really a fix or nah
There must be some fix as the mod CAN work, but for not it is undiscovered
Best you can do is make a fresh instance
And have hope
how do i do a fresh instance
On default launcher, you backup your worlds and uninstall MC
On Prism or Modrinth, you click the + button
Here is Modrinth tutorial if you would like to switch:

do i like uninstall everything in the minecraft folder
I have no idea
I don't use the deafault launcher
But backup everything you want to stay
E.G.: Worlds, Resourcepacks, Shader configs
Before deleting them
what launcher do u use?
im testing if it happens again
i was researching about it
What is WWOO?
William Wythers Overhauled Overworld
It enhances biomes
but its bugged out with DH
Since DH is a busted-beyond-repair and compatibility mess for me I might as well try it.
it causes this weird grid pattern
here
Without DH i mean. I can't use DH since it's so completely busted for me.
its demanding random mods now lmao
ohh
the grid pattern is still there
lll try using the wwoo datapack
Nothing works
if you mean that the grid pattern still shows up with WWOO and DH, yea, there is indeed nothing you can do
